About Us
Our School Rules

At our school, we follow three simple rules: Ready, Respectful and Safe. By holding ourselves and each other accountable to these expectations, our whole school community can learn, grow and thrive together.

Ready

We encourage children to come to school prepared to learn and participate positively each day by:

  • Showing they are listening.

  • Using appropriate voices for different situations.

  • Always trying their best in all that they do.

Respectful

We help children develop kindness, empathy and positive relationships by:

  • Listening carefully when others are speaking.

  • Speaking politely and respectfully to everyone.

  • Looking after themselves, each other and our school environment.

Safe

We support children to make responsible choices that keep everyone safe by:

  • Making good decisions.

  • Thinking carefully about their actions.

  • Keeping hands and feet to themselves.

  • Thinking before speaking.

  • Using equipment safely and responsibly.

Working together as a partnership between school and home helps us create a positive, supportive and successful learning environment for every child.

Our school rules of Ready, Respectful and Safe extend beyond the classroom and are expected to be reflected throughout our wider school community. By working together and holding ourselves and each other accountable to these values, we create a positive environment where everyone can thrive.

We value strong partnerships between home and school and recognise the important role parents and carers play in supporting our community expectations. Just as school staff are committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism in all interactions, we ask that all communication with and about staff members is conducted respectfully and courteously.

We expect all members of our community to treat one another with kindness, understanding and respect, recognising staff not only as professionals carrying out their roles, but also as individuals deserving of dignity and consideration. Positive and respectful communication helps us work together effectively in the best interests of every child.
