Geography

Our geography curriculum helps children understand the world, from their local area to global environments. Pupils explore physical and human features, developing knowledge of how landscapes, climates and communities are shaped.

Children learn about different cultures and ways of life, fostering curiosity, respect and a sense of global responsibility. They are encouraged to consider current issues, including environmental challenges and sustainability.

We encourage pupils to inspire an interest in the wider world, supporting pupils to develop awareness of their role within it. Through map skills and enquiry, children learn to interpret information and understand how places are connected.
