Our mathematics curriculum develops confident, fluent learners who can apply number skills and mathematical thinking to everyday situations. Pupils build strong foundations in calculation and number while learning to interpret, analyse and solve a range of problems.
We place emphasis on logical thinking, accuracy and efficiency, helping children recognise patterns and make connections across different areas of maths. Pupils are encouraged to select appropriate strategies, test ideas and refine their approaches.
Mathematics is presented as a practical and relevant subject, equipping children with the tools to manage real-life tasks such as handling money, measuring and understanding data.
