CurriculumMusic
Our music curriculum inspires children to explore, enjoy and create music in a variety of forms. Pupils develop confidence in performing, listening and composing while gaining an understanding of different musical styles and traditions.
Children are encouraged to experiment with sound, rhythm and instruments, expressing themselves creatively and developing their own musical identity. They learn to appreciate music from diverse cultures and time periods, fostering a sense of connection and shared experience.
We promote both participation and appreciation, helping pupils to understand the emotional and cultural significance of music. Through this, children gain the confidence to perform, collaborate and reflect on their work.
Our intentions is to nurture a lifelong enjoyment of music and encourage pupils to see it as a powerful form of expression and connection.
