Art

Our art curriculum encourages creativity, imagination and personal expression through a wide range of media and techniques. Pupils develop confidence in exploring materials, experimenting with ideas and refining their skills.

Children are introduced to a variety of artists, styles and cultural influences, helping them to appreciate art in different forms and understand its role in society. They learn to observe carefully and represent the world around them using colour, form and texture.

We promote open-mindedness, encouraging pupils to value their own work and respect the perspectives of others, recognising that art is subjective.

We seek to develop confident, creative individuals who enjoy expressing themselves visually and who take inspiration from the world around them.
